Why can't I control myself?

Once upon a time (yesterday), there lived a girl (me). And on one particular evening, she was going to get two new things! One, a new pair of spectacles. Two, a new pair of contact lens. And she did receive them... it is always nice to receive new things.

Then later, during dinner... something happened. Her new lovely white bag (just only given to her last Saturday) suffered at the hands of a careless coffeeshop cleaner, who practically poured an entire concoction of gross liquid (probably a mixture of coke, sauce, oil and whatever disgusting black leftover liquid you can think of) on her poor poor new bag. She was furious! And glared at anything and everything, and anger overwhelmed her tiny heart.

Then her father spoke to the supervisor, requesting for a compensation. A deal was made... she give over the bag, and they pay $35 (the cost of the bag) in return. Then she went from anger, to helplessness. As she took out her things and placed them into a plastic bag, she uncontrollably started to cry... cry very hard... in public. Which is ridiculous. But yet what is done cannot be undone.

In the end, a new deal was made. The supervisor gave them $25, and they kept the bag.

A big fiasco over a small mole hill simply because of sentiment and emotional attachment. Ridiculous is the word of the day.

Exercise galore!

On Thursday I finally got down to exercising (not counting the two floorball tryouts which I sadly couldn't make it into the 3rd round... yet it's good that I didn't. As Pearl will say: dilemmic dilemma. Haha).

So what did I do? Crazily... I ran, then played hockey, then on Friday morning I tried tennis for the first time (with Daryl the No1! haha, Steven and Yvonne)...

Running -
felt great! My love-hate relationship for running is rekindled once again. Haha

Hockey -
felt weird... haha have not played for so long... and sustained tons of injuries... bruised toe, left ankle and right calf... the power of the hockey ball.

Tennis -
fun! Haha, although I can't swing very naturally... oh well, with practice perhaps I can get better... after all, I have the excuse of being a newbie. Haha.


So now, after all that exercise... *drum rolls*
I have butt ache, thigh ache, toe ache, ankle ache, arm ache,sunburn. :P

The BIG 20! Hahaha. Happy bday to me (HAHA)

Haha! I'm super happy! Haha... like Fishie said... I must be the happiest girl today (Actually it's technically yesterday) !!! Haha

It's my 20th birthday... that looks so old! My cakes had only two big candles on them. Geez. HAha... compared to last year, where I had one big and nine small ones! Haha... more fun.

Anyway, I want to thank all my dearest friends around me who have been part of my life... each of you are in my "friend-basket" (Mel Mel will understand this) even if we don't meet up often ya?

Good grief...

Just the second week of school... and things are preeeettty crazy at the moment.

1. I got a cold... now still recovering from it
2. Celebrated Jo's bday today! Woo hoo! Happy 21th BDAY! We doused her in water and shaving foam... muahahaha.
3. Went out wif Yvonne and got Daryl's present... and got myself a present from them (go figure). So now I've got a new pair of sandals!
4. Got my iPod shuffle!!! A gift from my Ah Pa. :)
5. Sleeping still <8hrs...>
6. Going to go out alot for the next few days... I better make sure I do my tutorials soon... argh. Haha.

My RoOm

I love my room! I guess it's cos for once it's my very own room. It's simple and cosy! Think I really really love my room. :)

And... I'm hoping that perhaps I can now sleep more... Actually I'll love to sleep 10 hours everyday like what I've been doing for the past 3 months... But, I shall not be greedy... I'll be happy with 8 hours... forcefully grateful if I get 6 hours... horribly irritated if the number gets any lower. Haha.

Shopping, Spree-ing, Splurging

I bought so many things in the span of two days. On friday I bought an OP T-shirt and slippers. On sunday I bought three skirts, a PMK T-shirt and a sash.

Die... let me prepare to starve for the next few weeks... heh.

But I certainly super enjoyed myself with Mel Mel and Yvonne! =)

I had room balloting yesterday... WHAT A STRESSFUL EVENT SIA! Hahaha... cos we were trying to get rooms next or at least close to each other... but with our pathetic points... you get the gist! Hahaha. But still, at least all's well now.

I got a room just beside Pinx! That's great! Cos we're like still "roomies" except that we have our own rooms now. But I must say our rooms are quite old... old cupboards, rusty towel hanger, squeeky bed... haha... BUT better than nothing lah! Besides, at least the mattress is completely new! Yay!!! Hahaha. I'm gonna be it's first! Heh heh heh. And another thing! My room number is now 3A-204.... and guess what? My old room number was 3-204!! Cool huh? *GrinZ*

And SUDDENLY, block three is like so popular... all the noisy big cliques are like here... It's gonna be a rowdy stay I think... unless suddenly everyone converts and becomes muggers. Hahaha. (Hey, it's possible k! Hahaha)

Sentosa over and over again... Good grief

As the name suggests.... I've been to Sentosa so many times since my last entry!!! Threeeeeeeeee times to be exact! Argh... oh well. Hahaha I guess I'm really making full use of my Islander Card. Haha.

So anyway, today I went with Siew Ling, Evelyn, Dorcas and Jeanette... And it rained super heavily at first! Pretty cool actually. And unfortunately... today was also the dry run for Engin O Week AND Arts O Week... so there were like tons of NUS students. Geez. But who cares! Hahaha, cos I enjoyed the company of my St John frenz! It was like walking in "let's speak Chinese world" again... Hahaha.

And oh YA! Every one said I'm tan. Muahaha! Success finally!!! Tanning oil everyday in Redang and yet I remain in fair-zone, but just one CAC outing at Sentosa and it converts me to tan-mode. Amazing. Who wants to get tan??? Go join CAC camp. Haha.

More outings again!

YAY!!! I enjoyed today with my momma! Hahaha, she and I went to Seoul Garden today... hahaha, where I ate my breakfast, lunch and dinner combined into one! Haha... cos we started eating at 1.30pm... and ate and ate till 4pm! (Btw, I think I ate 8 small scoops of ice-cream... Muahaha!) And I want to declare: I always love spending time with my momma! *smiles* =)

Then after that I met some of the CAC camp mates to watch Fantastic Four. Hahaha... I guess what? On the train ride with Fabian, I met Joanna! So qiao. And she thinks he's quite cute. Hahaha. Feed his ego man... he's head prob getting bigger. Haha. Anyway, then later at Somerset, I met Sok Gek, Angel and Kai Wen! So qiao part II. Hahaha.

Dream dream dream.... again

Last night, I had a weird WEIRD dream. I dreamt one of my friends died. Sighs. I'm not saying who. But it's a he. Anyway, he was murdered. Gross hor? But don't imagine it as a horror dream... but rather it was weird, cos I didn't feel fear you see. But what I remember quite clearly was thinking "Oh dear... my third friend to pass away? Dearie me..."

So depressing dreams aside, I had a nice lunch and dinner with two different groups of friends today. Didn't spent a lot! Yay! Hahaha. But it's always nice build and strengthen my relationships with my friends around me ya?

Hectic Yesterday and Today... Sorta

Just came back home not long ago... quite tired now, but just wanna update my blog before I "pom-pom" (translation: sleep).

So anyway, yesterday I went Sentosa! Hahaha, again. This time with my CAC Campmates. One hall friend says I'm a beach bum. Haha, sounds weird to me, but I do admit that I love the beach... the sea to be exact. Anyway, it was real nice seeing all of them again. And yeah! Group 2 still retains the title to having the most people present for the Sentosa outing tradition. And oh by the way, I kena burn-ed again. Sighs. Oh well.

Then after that at night I met Ede, Pinx, Jas and Yi Zhuan for supper! (Then stayed over in Ede's house) And I made an amazing discovery! ... that the cheese prata at Thomson is really really nice to eat lor! Yum!

So today I sorta went straight to the rally. For practice and all. Spent more time with Linny! Haha, love her to bits, and hope our sister-ship will blossom. And also got to speak to Jon... whom I discovered is as lame as the rest of that gang. Hahaha.

Today I woke up feeling faint

Ya... I did. Quite scary... it's been a while since I felt faint. But this morning, I really suffered from all the symptoms... first I started to feel a bit giddy, then my ears started to ring and become block, then I started feeling numb and finally my vision started to become very bright. Scary!! Now still feeling a bit wozzy. But thank God I didn't faint... else I would have fainted in the toilet. Argh.

Anyway, maybe it's the result of yesterday... cos yesterday I went to Sentosa to tan... haha, for the first time. Quite relaxing, but strangely super tiring. Probably due to dehydration.

Nua-ing for the first time since my holidays started...

Wow... feels really weird that I actually have nothing on today!!! Think this holiday is nuts for me man... happily nuts. Haha, cos I don't think I can take it if I were to be sitting around at home all the time... I think I have "bee" blood in me! (Hahaha, no pun intended cos my blood type is actually A+)

Anyway, the CAC camp just ended on the 2th (last Sat)... It was super duper tiring man!! But just like the Engin camp, I'm glad to have met new friends, and glad to have spoken more to the 'old ones'. Haha.

I'm glad to have rest today... think I've been in a bad mood on Sunday and Monday... so hopefully all will be well soon. =)

Oh ya, Sunday was super nice... hahaha I was pampered by Kang Xun to a dinner at Olio's (the unglam me having an opportunity to dine in a high-class place. hahaha.), a movie which was a huge disappointment. Please dun watch War of the Worlds... it's super depressing, boring, almost plotless and full of loop holes. It's bad... trust me... but then again, it really depicts the nasty side of mankind. But anyway, cos it was so depressing, we went for dessert!!! hahaha - Haagen Daaz, to drive the blues away. Yum yum!

My whole week was a WHIRLWIND of activities man... hahaha but this time, because my life is God-centered once again, these activities are no longer meaningless! Woo hoo!

Anyway, just came back from a pretty fun Engin Camp... really glad to have met so many new frenz.

Then this weekend (Sat and Sun respectively) celebrated Junie's and Jermaine's birthdays... HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAL/GUY!!! See, that's why I'm losing my voice!!!! Grrrr... so husky now... hahaha. (Current MSN nick: one camp + two BBQs = losing voice happily) By the way... I kena sabo-ed in during Junie's birthday!!! Hahaha, cos I was cheeky first lah... hahaha initiated all the dunking and caking. Haha. Then I kena back - water, cake and ICE WATER!!! Hahaha, evil friends I have. Haha.

Oh well... tomorrow going for another camp... CAC. Hopefully I don't fall sick... :P and continue to be a bundle of energy! Haha.
