A glass, a card, a day, a pail, a thought (all of which have no-link)

I broke my glass cup yesterday… so sad… but luckily there’s another one. I broke by the dumbest manner possible, here’s the story: One day, I was thinking of drinking a hot cup of hot chocolate… so I poured boiling water into my cup… and then I realized that I actually don’t want to drink that… so I emptied the hot water and instantly filled it with icy cold water and AHA! It broke into half instantly. Griefs.

And I also registered for a library card! Cos it was free… haha. Well, at least there’s a small English section… so that I can entertain myself through some books rather than just from my laptop! Anyway, their library privileges are amazing… I get to borrow up to 40 books at one go, for 4 weeks! Not that there are so many books that I want (haha… finding one nice one is enough for me), but don’t you think those are pretty impressive numbers?

Oh ya, and yesterday was Winterday in my school… students will just play some simple games in the snow. The students will play against different departments, and they will wear their overalls. It’s this special suit thingy that each student will have. Haha… it’s not like it’s very pretty (heeelllooo, it must be practical here to keep people warm), but I think it’s special!

We saw white, green, black, red and pink yesterday... I think there are more colours which we have not seen. The ISE dept here wears white! haha... pretty!

And I bought a pail for €1.50 (S$3) cos I handwash all my clothes here!!! Unbelievable right? Haha… cos I must pay to use the washing machine nearby, and the one that’s free is a distance away… and I’m more lazy to wear all my winter stuff just to go over there to wash my clothes.

One more thing, I realized that when it rained here (the period of time when I first arrived)… there are no lightning or thunder… interesting hor?
